                  Asiya Rafiq for womens with disabilities

Abu Dhabi-based designer Asiya Rafiq launched her namesake label for women with disabilities. She survived an injury that left her paralyzed,  she became inspired to launch a modest womenswear label that is not just a need but stylish too. During DMFW, she presented a collection of easy-to-wear garments made specifically for women with disabilities. Like Zippers and velcro for women who require wheelchairs and magnetic buttons for those who live with Parkinson’s disease.   Sabrina Salhi in a talk with speakers that included DMFW co-founders Franka Soria and Ozlem Sahin, designer Asiya Rafiq, influencer Dr. Passant Saleh and Grace El Mahmoud from Shea Global "Fashion For good".
